Job Description
Mindful Well-Being, Inc. is seeking compassionate, reliable, and certified yoga instructors to teach the MWB Method of Yoga in senior living communities throughout Montgomery County , MD. Specifically Chevy Chase, Bethesda, Rockville, Gaithersburg, Potomac. As well as Columbia, MD. This is an excellent opportunity for instructors who enjoy working with older adults and are passionate about improving quality of life through movement, mindfulness, and wellness. Position Details Teach weekly yoga classes in senior living communities Class schedules vary by location (day and time) Training in the Mindful Well-Being (MWB) Method will be provided Create a welcoming, safe, and engaging environment for participants Compensation $60.00 per 1-hour class $30.00 per 30-minute class Qualifications Current Yoga Teacher Certification (200-hour minimum preferred) Experience teaching seniors, chair yoga, or adaptive yoga is a plus Professional, dependable, and compassionate demeanor Reliable transportation required Ability to travel to assigned communities throughout the DC/MD/VA region Position Type Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099) To Apply Please send your yoga and employment resume to: [email protected] We look forward to hearing from dedicated instructors who are committed to bringing wellness, movement, and mindfulness to older adults.
