Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will lead small group classes, teaching students various poses, breathing techniques, and mindfulness practices to improve physical and mental well-being, while also providing guidance and support for individual needs. Responsibilities Teaching: Instruct students of all levels in yoga poses (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. Class Planning: Developing engaging and effective yoga class sequences considering different skill levels and needs. Guidance and Support: Providing individual adjustments and modifications to ensure safety and accessibility for all students. Safety and Wellbeing: Monitoring students’ posture and breathing, encouraging them to communicate any discomfort, and ensuring a safe and clean practice environment. Promoting Mindfulness and Relaxation: Guiding students through meditation and relaxation techniques to promote mental and emotional well-being. Continuing Education: Staying up-to-date with the latest yoga techniques and trends through workshops and training programs. Qualifications Yoga Certification: Completion of a recognized yoga teacher training program. Experience: Previous experience teaching yoga classes, either in a studio or privately. Continuing Education: Ongoing professional development through workshops, training, and mentorship.
